How to overcome stress and depression
Stress is always considered as the enemy of man because a stressed man has a disturbing effect on himself as well as on the people around him.
Due to stress, life becomes very difficult for some people and sometimes even due to stress we may face major diseases because even though stress tortures us mentally, we never know when it will make our body suffer from diseases.
And this can have a major impact on you as well as your family so it is very important to get the stress level under control before life becomes more difficult and troublesome.
Because repeated stress is very harmful to the human body and can lead to serious diseases like heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes, if you take two minutes and read the below mentioned solutions, you can easily eliminate stress in your life.
1. Get good sleep.
Not getting enough sleep at the right time can be a major cause of stressful life, so get 7 to 8 hours of good sleep every night.
If you can't sleep, read a good book instead of taking sleeping pills.
And if you can, go to bed at the same time every night and while sleeping, think about the good things that happened today without any bad thoughts.
2. Engage in physical activity.
Physical activity will give exercise to every part of your body and it will make you feel a little tired at least to some extent in the body and the same tiredness will keep you away from stress free things.
3. Avoid drugs.
To stay stress free you should avoid alcohol, caffeine and nicotine because caffeine and nicotine are highly stimulants and these stimulants do not reduce your stress but increase it.
So stop alcohol, caffeine and nicotine today and if it seems difficult to stop completely, reduce the same amount and then gradually stop completely.
Taking alcohol as a way to relieve stress is very bad for you.
So instead of reaching for alcohol, caffeine and nicotine, have some water, herbal tea or fruit juice which will keep you healthy and stress free.
4. Talk to someone you like.
Just as it is said that feeling less sad, if you share the things that make you feel stressed with others, you will definitely benefit from stress relief.
5. Write a diary.
If you don't have a friend to whom you can talk about your troubles or stress, then don't be afraid and in that case, make your diary your friend and your pen your friend and write down all the stressful things in your mind.
And whenever stress comes, pour out all the stress on the diary.
6. Do meditation.
Meditation is the most important formula for stress relief because meditation calms you more mentally than physically.
But meditation is not easy because in today's busy life it is very difficult to settle the mind in one place, so start meditating for 2 minutes as soon as you can and increase the time as you get used to it.
7. Say yes to yourself.
Time is very limited in every person's life and if that time is given to someone else every time then we will not be living our life properly so learn to say 'no' instead of 'yes' to every person every time and give yourself the time you got in exchange for that 'no'.
This small change will help you to make your life stress free and peaceful
Note - If you are under a lot of stress then always spend maximum time with family or friends but don't stay alone as loneliness in stress can be more harmful for you.
